Aline, Dental Hygienist

Aline was born in Brazil in 1979.  She is the oldest of five children, two girls and three boys.  She has a big family and growing up we always went to Grandma's house to have lunch on Sundays.  She went to private school all her life until her Mom decided to send her to the United States to be an exchange student.  She always wanted Aline to learn the language and the culture.  She was 16 years old when she came to Boise.  She went to Borah High School for her senior year and that is where she met her husband, Josh Butts.

When she graduated from high school, she went to BSU and took some classes to find out if she wanted to be a dental hygienist.  She first went through the dental assisting program and got her dental assisting certificate.  She then applied for hygiene school at the American Institute of Health and Technology (now known as Appollo College), was accepted and after graduation began working here for Dr. Pfost.  Aline had been a patient of Dr. Pfost's ever since she moved to the states.  She loves being a hygienist.  She loves meeting new people and helping them with whatever she can.  She wants to do some volunteer work in the near future because that was one of the reasons she wanted to be in the health care field.  On her days off, she loves spending time with her husband, dogs and friends.  She enjoys swimming laps, working out, hiking with her friends from hygiene school, playing with her goddaughter and her great friend Josy.
